One of the most effective ways to get a wake-up call on the problems on your website is to watch someone actually use it. A focus group is a targeted group of users who are brought together to use and discuss your website. They don't necessarily think like you, and that's a good thing.

To understand what content our users care about and how our website can meet their needs, we ask them. The best analytics insights can’t replace a single user telling you why they came to your website and why they left. Focus groups help us find these answers.

You won't rank high with Google unless people like your site. Read through your content and make sure it's simple, interesting and relevant. Add some images and graphics that relate to what you're trying to communicate to readers. Always consider that your website can be better, so keep the content fresh and never stop making little changes that will improve the pages and grow your audience.
